Make Thumbnail on your videos.

Video thumbnails are snapshots of your video, and it's still an image that acts as the preview image for your video. It is essential to make your thumbnails to tell a potential viewer what the video is all about.

YouTube thumbnail dimensions use an aspect ratio of 16:9. Images should be under 2MB. Image formats are JPG, GIF, or PNG.

What are you need to start editing?

1. Android Phone. (KineMaster requires at least Android 4.1.2 but works best on 4.2 or later.)
2. Download Kinemaster on playstore.

How to make YouTube Thumbnail using KineMaster?

The image below is my sample YouTube Thumbnail on my video.

Note: YouTube thumbnail dimensions use an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Step 1. Open the Kinemaster, then press the add film icon and select the 16:9 aspect ratio.

Step 2. Tap the Media, then choose the image you want for your background.

Step 3. After adding a background image, tap the layer options, then select Text.

• You can change the font size, style, and color of the letter on the right-side panel.

Step 4. To add another image, tap the layer options and select media. Then select any image you want to add for your thumbnail.

• You can also place and resize the image you select.

Step 5. If you're done, tap the snapshot icon on the left side, then select the capture and save.

Step 6. The image will be saved on the Phone storage > kinemaster > capture folder.
